Project Auto Movie Part 5

The Project Auto Movie has been coming along smoothly with Dayzed50 and I gathering moving clips and post Mustang racing blogs getting for this step. Now we have enough footage stemming from 2005 that can be compiled into a short film of our passion.

Dayzed50 has some new DVD burning software and I have all the movies and images to put into a movie. In the 1st part of this project outlined that this something a small business could do to improve their marketing.

Being on a budget we were forced to everything from the ground up. But over the period of a few months we compiled enough information for a marketing tactic. It goes to show that some hard work and elbow grease will get the job done. As small business owners it is not easy to afford a budget that could accomplish the same feat in 20 days. But it can be done so moving on to more project info.

The movie is going to outline “why” we do this sport and how much fun it is for us. So please stay tuned for preliminary clips, but don’t forget to check the teasers.

Another Project Complete

I have been working on writing content for my real estate website for the last 2 1/2 months and finally it is complete. It came our great and I would like to that Jim Messenger for creating my wonder blogsite platform.

The main focus was creating a hierarchy to the pages with it starting at the county level and then working down to the city level. But going through my two favorite pages are targeted for Boeing Relocation and Everett Navy Relocation in Snohomish County. The writing came out pretty good and they are already ranking really high for their keywords, any SEOer will love that. So what is in store for the future.

The next project for my real estate site is work on my Seattle real estate page. The page is going to be a comparison on Seattle real estate and Snohomish County real estate and with the hopes to convert people to move into my area. So far the idea is awesome but no work has gone into the pages, unless an outline counts.

So that is all for now and until the next time…take care and blog safely.

Real Estate Project

The other week I started a major website project for my real estate company Barnett Associates Real Estate, LLC. The company has decided to switch providers and building a new real estate website from the ground up. There were many reasons for the change but the biggest being the updated software we are going to be using, a Word Press theme, that incorporates a blog.

In the internet marketing world a blog is a must have on any site these days and the reason are huge to make the move. The main item that keeps me thinking is links. Blogging by nature encourage natural links between other bloggers since it is so easy and it is part of the social blogging culture.

By having a blog attached to a main site, one that other bloggers link too, means the main site receives all the benefit from the social linking and creates quality backlinks, review SEO category, for better search engine placement.

This new real estate website is requiring a lot of time to make sure the content is written excellent, the content is highly targeted for main keywords and the site is well organized and function from a user perspective. It the long run it will be well worth the time and the company will benefit from having better SEO throughout the site.

Project Auto Movie Part 4

Getting a phone call at work from Dayzed50, he asked me where was…”I am and just shutting my passenger door”…it was like; jackpot. Leaving work I headed over to Dazyed50’s house to hear the initial start up after the motor instillation. He spent the early afternoon, Dayzed50 works graveyard, installing the H-pipe and fully assembling the last minute items it was time to see how it cracked over.

Dayzed50 is planning on taken tomorrow night off, no over-time, and get and road test the new assembly. The steering arm was to close for comfort on the new 1 3/4″ headers so getting a feel for the steering and new power parts will really give an idea if there are any major issues to be thinking about. I highly doubt there will considering how well it fired up and idled and the purred and rapped up (the smoke is caused from the new setup).

As we are looking forward with the project is: the idea is really starting to come together will many parties being involved. After the road test the Mustang may get on the dyno the coming weekend to make sure the air-to-fuel is on. We blew a motor due to air-to-fuel spike 5 yeas ago, no need to repeat that experience. Footage is getting planned and if tomorrow night is an early one then we’ll storyboard then instead of Saturday.

This project has been blessed by the contribution of 4 key people, dayzed50 (owner), Brand (Dayed50’s brother), David (owner of Sunset Body Works) and Toby Barnett (friend). The goal has been to produce a movie on a budget and simeltanously creating a marketing piece that could be used for the benifit of the contributing members. So far we have all had a blast while puting countless hours. So take a peak and let us know what you think, but WARNING there is a Mustang going fast in subsequent pages.
