As a follow up to Affordable Multi-Purpose Video Equipment DIY-ers, its time to announce some personal success from marketing efforts. Back in October, when originally posting about affordable video equipment, I purchased a DJI Phantom 2 H3-3D to film and take photographs for real estate listings and the response has been no less than ‘wow’ from both clients and the community.
As a result, the local newspaper picked up my drone use and reached out for an interview, asked if they could come out to a house, and, with no effort from myself, the published article made frontpage. If you’re a small business owner, its not out of the realm do bring marketing in-house. There is an opportunity cost with bring marketing in-house but if you have more time than money then consider it. But the gains that can be achieved through YouTube videos is tremendous and shouldn’t be missed.
