TWResourceGroup.com was Hacked by Pukes

The level of hackers today and taking extreme lengths just to gain access to website and to get their links on webpages over just the typical blog or email scams. Today I found out from a friend in Illinois that his real estate website was compromised. Under much panic it looks that my Everett real estate website is a-o-k.

After much review, TW Resource Group’s clients are all safe. A big thanks go out to the internet gods for protecting my clients!!

What happened? Well it is hard to tell from the naked eye, or better yet, can’t tell with the naked eye. The hack installed links within the footer of the webpage. So as users it would never be detectable but using a Google Bot analysis tool the problem becomes aparentt.

At the bottom of TWResouceGroup.com there were links pointing to mp3, Viagra and Calais retailers (sick bastards…they need to look at the ashole rule again) that only showed up against a Google Bot analysis. These links served as unrelated and spammy while pointing to a bad neighborhood which resulted in Google removing this site from the SERPs. Good news that my clients are safe and I will continue to monitor as evolvements arise.

As a small business owner this has a devistating effect on traffic and ultimitaly leads. TWResourceGroup.com plummitted in rankings which was starting to do very well, was a #15 for “small business marketing”. Now that the site does not rank my revenue has dropped all due to maliscious activity of some puke.

It is frustrating as all get out just to work out the problems that may arise when encountering an asshole.

So here is my message to the hackers of the world if you want to aviod an old fashioned Marysville beat down; Stay Outta My Shit!

It happened again and now this is the third attempt to rid these pirates from my system.

Got something to say?
